Archbishop Gerard Mongeau, O.M.I.
(b. February 4, 1900-d. October 31,1994).
Born in L'Epiphanie on February 4, 1900. He was ordained priest of Oblates of Mary Immaculate on June 14, 1924, before appointed prelate of Cotabato, Philippines. He was appointed titular bishop of Diana on March 27, 1951 and was ordained 3 months after. He became the bishop of Cotabato on June 12, 1976 and archbishop of Cotabato on November 5, 1979. He retired service on March 14, 1980.
He died at the age of 94.
